Player recruitment exercise still on course

The management of Accra Hearts of Oak has stated that it has not finalized player recruitment for the reminder of the season and insists that it is working around the clock to seek the very best for the club.

It is therefore appealing to all Phobians to disregard reports that the Managing Director has failed to finalize new signings in this transfer window as is been speculated in some quarters.

Head Coach Nii Odoom has penciled down some names for purchase by the club and, the club’s top hierarchy are working around the clock to get these deals done in double quick time.

Already, the club has announced the signing of Niger national team player Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali with the defensive midfielder having signed a two-year deal with the Phobians.

It is anticipated that further signings and announcements would be made before this transfer window closes as the club works ahead towards the resumption of the football season.

The Phobians have three games to play before the first round of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season closes. Hearts has an outstanding Matchday 16 away encounter with King Faisal before playing Techiman XI Wonders and Legon Cities to end the first round.

The football season is on hold following the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic which has curtailed all social activity worldwide.
