Emmanuel Nettey: I am living my dream

Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey has said he is delighted to have signed for the club and, will do all within his means to be a hit at the club.

The mercurial midfielder joined the club during the first round of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season and has been a main stay having produced some amazing displays since his debut against Liberty Professionals.

That was a GPL Matchday Five encounter played at Dansoman where the former Inter Allies player put in a man-of-the-match performance in his first game for the Phobians as they won 2 – 1.

“It has been a childhood dream to don the colours of Accra Hearts of Oak and, I will put in my maximum best to attain great heights at this football club”, he said.

“Playing for a big club like Hearts of Oak is always a challenge but, I am always relaxed anytime I step unto the field of play and, this has been with me since I was a child”, he added.

The player has earned rare reviews since joining the Phobians and, he said that is motivation enough for his to go out there and perform anytime he is called upon to do so.

He will look to continue from where he left off when the GPL resumes after the covid-19 pandemic is curtailed and, Nettey believes the best is still yet to come.

Hearts has three games to play before the first round of the GPL ends with games against King Faisal (away), Techiman XI Wonders (home) and Legon Cities (away) to come.
