Hearts fans troll social media to console Afutu


Fans of Ghana’s premier club, Accra Hearts of Oak have taken to social media to console our midfielder, Benjamin Afutu who sadly lost his mother a couple of days ago.

When we posted the sad news of the passing of the late mother of our combative enforcer on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages on Tuesday, Phobians immediately expressed their grievances with very consoling and heartfelt messages to Afutu and his family.

Afutu’s mother, Madam Emelia Tetteh, 72, died on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Royal Hospital, Akweteyman in Accra after a short ailment.

The message we posted on our Twitter handle: @HeartsOfOakGH, has so far been retweeted over 90 times and has more than 956 likes.
