Frank Nelson, Project Committee inspect ongoing work at Pobiman

Board member Frank Nelson led a delegation of fellow Project Committee members to inspect ongoing works on the Pobiman Academy Project on Wednesday.

They were warmly welcomed to the site by the head of the local construction firm, Joseph Kofi Adjei who informed them on the progress of work after three weeks of being on-site.

K.A Estates Company Limited are the local and have been on site preparing the groundwork for the main contractors Prefabex Yapi Teknolojiller San Ve Tic Limited to oversee the main project.

The local construction firm has been tasked to wrap up their work in three months. Afterwards, the Turkish firm, Prefabex Construction will take over the construction of what is expected to be an ultramodern edifice.

Mr Adjei took the team through work done so far and what is to come and, on the timelines, set for their separate conclusion. He was positive that all scheduled timelines would be met.

Work is progressing sturdily as Ghana’s Premier club looks to chalk yet another first in the annals of football in the country with the construction of a first-class infrastructure.

Mr Nelson expressed satisfaction on the work done so far and was hopeful that this first phase of the project would be completed on the scheduled deadline.

He appealed to the club’s supporters to have faith and trust in the board as they are bent on placing Hearts of Oak at the top of the game not only in Ghana but also internationally.

When completed, the Pobiman Academy Project will have a staff residence, senior housing unit, gym, training centres (pitches), laundry, swimming pool, lockers, toilets, kitchen and dining hall among others.
