Team back in camp to prepare for AshGold clash

Team Hearts of Oak have arrived back in camp at the Glow Lamp Soccer Academy at Abreshia near Elmina on Ghana's western coast to prepare for next Tuesday's Ghana Premier League (GPL) Matchday Two encounter with AshantiGold SC in Accra.

The Phobians arrived back at their camp base on Thursday evening from Dormaa Ahenkro after our first GPL game of the season with Aduana Stars last Saturday was postponed due to Covid-19 reasons.

The team had to stay over in Dormaa Ahenkro for about a week but are now back at the camp base to prepare for the game with the Miners on November 24.

Confidence within the team is strong and Coach Odoom and his technical staff will continue with their training of the boys to ensure that they will be ready to go on Tuesday as we play our first game of the season.

The team is managing the Covid-19 situation it very well and is making sure that it doesn't affect the progress of the team as they prepare for the AshGold game and subsequent matches thereafter.

Hearts will aim for all three points against the Miners at the Accra Sports Stadium to get the season going on a right note as the team goes for the ultimate at the end of the campaign.
