Match Preview : Eleven Wonders vrs Hearts of Oak

Team HeartsofOak has traveled to Techiman to play Eleven Wonders as we move towards the end of the Ghana Premier League season.

The clash with Wonders will be our match day-26 fixture of the season and represents an important game as we aim to collect maximum points to boost our title ambitions with 9 games to go.

As per the Covid precautions, 25% of fans will be allowed to watch the game at the Nana Ameyaw Park on Friday afternoon.

The game will kicks off at 3:00pm and will be shown live on StarTimes. Some over 7 million Phobians will be able to watch their favourite team on StarTimes decoder and app. Alternatively, you can follow the action via our Heartsofoak's Facebook and Twitter accounts with the Match Day Live activities where we will be providing you with live match text commentary and post-match analysis, interviews and reaction.

This will be the 2nd meeting between the clubs in this year’s league. Hearts  won the first in Accra and will need to stand firm with good display to stand a good chance of making it a double over them.

In our previous match, Manaf Umar connected a perfectly weighted cross from Fatawu Mohammed inside the box with a low grounder to beat goalkeeper John Moosie in the 11th minute. Three minutes into the second half, Victor Aidoo drilled in a powerful shot with the outside of the his boot which  beat Moosie.

Patrick Razak might be unavailable for Friday’s game  due to a rib injury he suffered in our last home match against Elmina Sharks . The stakes are high and our players and in high morale to once again work for the points.
