Hearts' goalkeeper Richard Attah has been chosen as the best goalkeeper at the just ended Universal Ghana football awards of the 2020/2021 season, big recognition for the Hearts and national team goalie after having already been adjudged as the goalie with the highest number of a clean sheets in the just ended league season.
Attah has been invited to the national team after his recognition in the league which saw team Hearts win the keenly contested league.
"He is proud and happy to have won," said the wife who picked up the award on behalf of the brilliant goalkeeper.
"Thanks to all those who voted for me and thanks to my teammates for their support, as well as my family and friends, who were there for me in good and bad times."
Richard Attah beats Razak Abalora of Kotoko to the awards.
Attah has gained callup into the national team and he is currently in South Africa with the black stars on national duty.
