Hearts trashes Dzida fc by 6 goals to 1

A good exercise for our lads as they played a friendly match against Dzida Fc to assess their readiness for the next match against WAC of Morocco.

The game that was played at the Accra sports stadium saw fewer spectators due to the heavy rains that had fallen earlier in the day which prevented fans from trooping to the stadium.

Coach Boadu explained that the scoreline was good but he saw some loopholes that need to be addressed.

"We can't say we are 100% done with our readiness. We have to work on some department before our crucial match against WAC in the champions league on Sunday."

The match saw the new visitors from Hoffenheim frequently clapping and praising the team cohesion.

The division 2 side, Dzida FC gave a good account of themselves and was very purposeful anytime they build up.

Their threats were well dealt with and in no time the phobians turned the heat on them ensuring that they ended the first half with goals from Kofi Kordzi and Isaac Mensah giving Hearts a 2 nil lead.

With the intention clear, the phobians came back into the second half the way they ended the first with more intensity and clear intentions of emphatic win.

The tactical change by coach Boadu caused the goal tally to increase with a brace from Barnieh.

The match ended with Hearts winning by 6 -1. Preparation towards the champions league continues.
