Awako, An Integral member of the midfield of Hearts. - Boadu

When Awako joined 2020/21 defending champions Hearts of oak there were hullabaloos about his move to his new club with many Hearts supporters not happy with how everything started.

Given that - and the fact that when everything was resolved Awako joined his other colleagues and immediately started training. His first game was against Awako and that was the only goal that secured a maximum point for the team. It was an immediate acceptance into the Hearts fraternity. The former Great Olympics player has become an integral member of the team and his contribution in the midfield cannot be underestimated.

A recent partnership with Ansah Botchway attracted applause from a section of the fans who were delighted about the victory and the performance saying it is one of the best performances so far from the team this past few weeks. The inconsistency in the team seems to be getting to the players and Awako is not an exception as he laments to about how chances of climbing the top of the summit is being missed because of bad results.

"I'd be lying if I said amongst, we the technical team and players we are happy about the inconsistent result.”

Awako seems to have brought some life in the midfield as his work rate seem to be on point and his contribution in terms of passing and communication to team mates on the field of play has been impressive. His ball distribution has been ok.

"Yes, you may be enjoying his play but the Awako we all saw when he was playing at Great Olympics will fully be unleashed and we might even get a better version of him.” Said Boadu.
