Phobia Galaxies shine in first leg win for Ghana

Phobia Galaxies shine in first leg win for Ghana with goals from Afriyie Barnieh, Mohammed Alhassan and Gladson Awako.

It is hard not to celebrate as a Hearts of Oak fan especially after seeing the team’s players put up a fantastic performance for the nation. It may be the first leg but the confidence from the entire team seems to suggest that the team is beaming with confidence and determination and ready to make Ghana proud at that stage.

A beautifully orchestrated performance from the team led to the first goal when Barnieh scored form the penalty spot to give the Black Galaxies a deserved lead.

Another goal from Mohammed Alhassan started looking like a nail in the coffin but Awako would not have that as he finally nailed the opponents with what football connoisseurs have described as a spectacular goal to make it 3-0.

The Phobia boys ensured that the Black galaxies emphatically defeated Les Écureuils from Benin after trashing their counterparts 3-0 to be well off ahead of the second leg in Porto-Norvo in Benin this weekend.

We continue to wish our Galaxies all the best as they continue to make us proud.
