The wait is over!

…The journey begins on Sunday in Dormaa

Glorious Hearts of Oak will begin the betPawa Ghana Premier League season away from the capital when they play as guest to Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park-Dormaa.

The phobians with the inclusion of some quality stars that joined in the off-season seem poised and ready not only for the Aduana match but for the season with determination written on their faces.

Speaking to team the captain ahead of the match, he touched on their readiness for the season and hoped for a collective good season. “We are ready for the season, as a player, anytime the season ends you have to start preparing for the new one ahead. We only hope for a good season and an injury-free season. We have to start with good focus and high level of discipline which will aid our efforts. We are a unit so team work will count very well in all of our outings” said Captain Fatawu.

In the last 5 matches between the 2 clubs, Hearts have been the least favorite with a win and 2 draws something that Coach Boadu and his lads will be looking to change to make the narratives fit into the happy mood of the Hearts fans after they witnessed the colorful unveiling of the clubs new jerseys which has been described by football fans as the best jersey in Africa if not the world so far.

Hearts left Accra to continue with it’s preseason in the Ashanti region from where they continued to Dormaa to go and honour their first match of the new season. Coach Samuel Boadu is likely to feature some of his new recruits such as Esso, Yassan and Kaaba. It may also see the inclusion of Kordie who is yet to play for the Phobians after recovering from his surgery. He has been in a good form and will want to make that bare in the team.

With no injuries in the team that traveled for the game the Phobians look good for a smooth take off though a fierce encounter is expected from the opponent.

The match against Aduana Stars is scheduled for Sunday, 3:00 PM and it will be beamed live on StarTimes.
