Hearts of Oak will be without few important players for their league clash against Kotoko.

Midfielders Aziz Nurudeen, Salifu Ibrahim and attacking midfielder Yassan Ouatching are all injured. In the last encounter against Kotoko who had just been kicked out of the CAF champions league, Aziz Nurudeen played and was the player through which referee Padi manipulated the score line in favor of Kotoko when he awarded a dubious penalty against glorious Hearts of Oak.  

Kotoko, who suffered a shock exit from the CAF champions league will come like a wounded lion to redeem their image and what better way to do it. Hearts of Oak on the other hand will also want to vent their soccer anger on them for the miss of victory over the Dade boys over the weekend.

Hearts head into the third league match without talismanic Barnieh who is away with the National Senior team to France to play against 5 times world cup winners, Brazil in a friendly match. In his absence, Coach Boadu is very positive of those available to step in as his replacement. 

Hearts of Oak are hopeful of a good match against their fiercest rival. The two sides were scheduled to play in the Super cup clash but Kotoko had to smartly excuse itself and state CAF competition as the reason for not being able to play. Well, they have been kicked out. 

Hearts will be looking to work hard and get a favorable result against Kotoko. In the last five encounters between the two sides, Hearts has 1 win and 2 draws something that Hearts will want to change.  

This match will be our match number three but first league match for Kotoko.
