Hearts deepen Nsoatreman’s woes to move to third place.

Linda Mtange's free kick was headed into the net by Nsoatreman defender to give the home team, Glorious Hearts of Oak the opening goal in the first half of the match. Linder again provided an assist which Baafi expertly dispatched for the second goal. The win shot Hearts straight to third spot in the BetPawa league table.

Linda received a descent pass from Korsah and dribbled his way past the opponent before eventually laying a pass on the path of the on-running Baafi who sent the defence of Nsoatreman in the wrong direction with his first control and shot past the goalkeeper with his left foot into the net to secure all 3 points.

The visitors fought hard immediately the second goal went in to pull one back but it wasn’t enough to give them any point. Nsoatreman were very resilient and played well till they were a man down in the 82nd minute when Ransford was shown a second yellow card for walking back on to the pitch without permission from the match officials. They tried but WE NEVER SAY DIE.

In the 70th minute, a controversial decision from referee Semanu saw him award a penalty to the visitors but after his deliberations with the fourth official he reversed his earlier decision. As the game went on, there were several of inconsistent decisions from the center referee which nearly marred the beauty of the game.

Focused as the players were, they ensured that they ended the game positively, claiming all three points available to move glorious Hearts of Oak to third on the league log and puts Hearts 5 points behind the league leaders, Aduana.
