....Auroras Sail Past Newtwon Youth:

Our youth team, Auroras, this morning at the Kpobiman Sports Complex, gave a stellar performance in their matchday-2 of the division-2 league, winning 4-0 against a formidable New Town Youth FC.

Goals from Dennis Mensah, Theodore Quartey and a brace from Joseph Kwei gave Auroras the cushion they needed on the league log.

Theodore made an instant impact after stepping onto the field with an intelligent non-drop pass to Joseph Kwei, who kicked it brilliantly into the net for the second goal. Theodore then got his own from a solo run away from the NewTown Youth defence.

Joseph Kwei, who was adjudged the fans favourite was clinical in the game ensuring that the defence of New Town Youth FC overworked. He managed to unlock the opponent's defence and scored a brace.

The defence of Auroras was resolute and ensured that no goal went past goalkeeper Amamu, who was superb on the day making brilliant saves and stopping near goals.

The team was ecstatic as they celebrated the win, and Tettey Mansro, a pillar at the back, mentioned that they “played as a team”. He thanked the fans and asked that they keep supporting them as they also continue to work hard for good results.

The Auroras have their eyes set on the division-2 crown and are determined to make it happen with hard work and great teamwork.
