Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak will this Sunday host CI Kamsar at the nations Wembley, Accra Sports Stadium for the CAF Champions League game.
The first leg of the game was canceled by CAF due to the coup in Guinea Conakry. The Ghanaian champions will be looking forward to winning this game after having won the Ghana Premier league and MTN FA Cup. Their glory in the just-ended season is what has given them the confidence to remain resolute.
Fans are yet to know whether they will be allowed into the stadium or not as the phobias await the directive from CAF to admit fans. In the unlikely event that CAF brings a contrary directive, the match as it stands will be played behind closed doors.
The fans who make the 12th man on the pitch for the phobias will be missed.
According to Coach Boadu, the fans are his family and it will be sad not to see them at the stadium, however, he believes that even though they are not physically there they will be backing him and his boys with their prayers wherever they are.
A win for the phobias will boost their morale as it will motivate them to continue to fight into the group stage of the competition. Hearts will have to clear another hurdle before getting into the group stage but for now, CI Kamsar is a stumbling block
