Hearts to host Dreams FC in MTN FA Cup Round of 32

Hearts of Oak will face Dreams FC in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 in a match that promises to give a test to the defending Champions.

Hearts have already won the title back-to-back in the last two seasons.

This will be an interesting game considering the result of their last encounter in the Premier League where the two sides scored 2 each to end in a stalemate. The defending champions have been drawn against the Dawu based team after successfully dispatching off Uncle T United in the round of 64 in the competition with goals from Salifu Ibrahim, Obeng Jnr and Benjamin Yorke.

They looked poised and looking forward to progress to the next stage. Team Hearts played against Dreams FC last season in the semifinals and dispatched the stubborn side to reach the finals in the 2021/22 season. This time we are meeting again but at a different stage of the competition.

Hearts will be looking to motivate themselves in order to make it into the next stage as they will be looking forward to continue on the journey to the finals as they take it game after game.

Hearts of Oak are likely to play this match at the Accra Sports stadium if the pitch is made ready and available for use.

Hearts will be facing a highly motivated side who will want to prove that they are in it for the price. Hearts of Oak have always dominated the Dawu based team.

Dreams FC have only beaten Hearts of Oak once in the last five matches.

The date for the match will be communicated later by the Ghana Football Association.
